Fried Fish Sandwich Recipe By Aliz Foods

It is hard to avoid the yummy sandwiches available on various restaurants or street corners. But, if you are planning to try the fried fish sandwich, don’t forget to fry the fish in healthy Aliz olive oil because it is perfect to heat up to a certain level without losing its nutrients.

You just need fish fillet, all-purpose flour, eggs, and any kind of sauce like chili garlic, tomatoes sauce, remoulade sauce, or a mixture of several sauces. Adding some lettuce and tomatoes will further enhance this sandwich just like other sandwiches.

When I had it for the first time, I loved it because I had different flavors like juicy fish, the crispy coating, the bread, the sauces, the coleslaw served with it and the drink as well.

Everybody makes the fried fish sandwich recipe according to own taste and you can do the same. Buy fish that you like but it should be fresh and make it in Aliz olive oil because it is better than other olive oils. 

You can have the sandwich in any shape of bread, like round, elongated, or square, the way you like. Adding some mayonnaise can also make it tasty than without it.

  • kisan canola cooking oil for frying

  • 2 white fish fillets (cod, snapper, halibut) bones and skin removed

  • fresh cracked pepper and kosher salt

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 lettuce leaves

  • 1 tomato, sliced

  • 2 hamburger buns, toasted if desired


  • Heat 2 inches of oil in a large pan or pot over medium-high heat until oil reaches 375 degrees. Note: Make sure the pan is large enough that the fish fillets won't be crowded when frying.

  • To make the batter whisk together flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.

  • Slowly whisk in the beer.

  • Sprinkle the fish fillets with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour. Dip into the batter. Gently lay battered fish into oil. Fry until golden brown about 4 to 6 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined

    plate. Sprinkle with more kosher salt if desired.

  • To assemble the sandwich place 1 lettuce leaf and 1 - 2 tomato slices on the bottom portion of the bun. Top with fish. Spread tartar sauce generously on top of fish. Repeat to make other sandwiches.

  • Serve immediately.
