Greek Yogurt Honey Mustard Salmon Recipe By Aliz Foods

A meal with yogurt and fish is always healthy because we all know the vitamins and minerals we get in these foods. It’s not always that you should have yogurt as it is, but cooking any recipe with it is another option to have it.

The Greek yogurt honey mustard salmon is surely a great dish for salmon lovers, especially who also go after a healthy lifestyle. The ingredients of the recipe consist of salmon fillet depending on the quantity you require, parsley, garlic cloves, lemon juice, mustard sauce, salt to taste, and Aliz olive oil that is a Spanish brand but now available in the entire world.

When had this fish in a restaurant, I loved the yummy taste of salmon, honey, and yogurt.  They served it with salad, and sauces of various types, including the fish sauce.

The best thing is that you don’t need to deep fry the fish, so just take a little olive oil and pour it over the non-stick pan and fry until it gets brown. The Greek yogurt honey mustard salmon is no doubt a healthy meal, especially for those who are on their path to weight loss.

Greek Yogurt Honey Mustard Salmon

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 6-7 ounce salmon fillets

  • 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt

  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard

  • 1/2 kisan canola cooking oil

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives plus additional for garnish

  • salt and pepper to taste

RECIPE

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with tin foil, and lay the salmon, on top, skin side down.

  • Combine the greek yogurt, mustard, honey and chives in a small bowl and stir to combine. Spoon half the sauce over the fish, reserving half the sauce for later. Sprinkle salmon with salt and pepper, to taste.

  • Bake in preheated oven just until the fish is opaque in the center, 7 minutes. Increase the oven to broil. Broil the fish for 5-6 minutes, keep your eye on it so it doesn't overcook. Garnish with chives and serve with the reserved sauce.
